Utah System of Higher Education and AcademyOne team up to launch the improved Utah Transfer Guide

USHE

WEST CHESTER, PA - Powered by AcademyOne’s ArticulatED™ workflow and publishing software and other applications, the utahtransferguide.org site is dedicated to helping students plan and manage credit transfer throughout the system’s public colleges and universities. It has resources for students, veterans, faculty and advisors.

“Transferring to another institution should not be a roadblock to college graduation. This tool helps students understand their most straightforward transfer path to make informed choices about their next steps,” said Dave R. Woolstenhulme, Interim Commissioner of Higher Education. “Through extensive mapping by USHE institution staff and faculty, students can now view their transfer options for the top graduate-producing majors in the state, all in one place.”

The Utah Transfer Guide allows students to search for programs, courses, or course and exam equivalencies by the state’s participating institutions. The new TransferCheck app lets them see exactly how their courses will be accepted for transfer credit and count toward general education and major degree requirements taking the guesswork out of student mobility and academic credit portability.

With more programs and features to be added in the coming year, USHE encourages students to use the self-service advising website along with the guidance they receive from a transfer advisor.

The Utah System of Higher Education (USHE) is governed by the Board of Regents and is comprised of Utah’s eight public colleges and universities. The CEO of USHE is the Commission of Higher Education. For more information, visit ushe.edu.
