 “I have been involved with the PA State System of Higher Education’s initiative regarding the transferability of courses between and among state-owned community colleges and state universities for many years. Each attempt has included a database of some sort for each institution to maintain its course equivalencies. Everything prior to AcademyOne has required an update of our student information system’s transfer course equivalency database as well as an update of the state-wide transfer course equivalency database. Who has time or staff to maintain two systems and ensure they are in sync? Now with the Equivalency Synchronizer interface, I only need to maintain my institution’s database; the synchronizer takes care of maintaining the information to be available on PATRAC.org.
The information available on PATRAC.org will be useful for prospective students to see how courses may transfer to LHU but it will also be useful for LHU students who want to take courses elsewhere and transfer them back to LHU to meet degree requirements. This information is now available on the web and can be accessed any time, any where. ”
