OUR OFFER
In an effort to help institutions address student mobility with innovative tools lessoning the academic and administrative burdens of data management, AcademyOne has developed the National Course Atlastm to facilitate the sharing of a common repository across educational providers. There is no cost associated with uploading your course catalog to the AcademyOne repository. And, there is no cost to accessing other institutions's course offerings.
OUR VISION AND PURPOSE
AcademyOne, Inc. is committed to providing millions of learners, advisors, and employers with access to a wealth of information that fosters better decision making in the academic planning and workforce development process—starting with the free National Course Atlas website that is loaded with searchable information about courses from colleges and universities.
Our goal is to help institutions discover, negotiate, and manage course evaluations to determine compatability and/or equivalency with course offerings from other institutions. Each course decision follows a systematic procedure and is retained for later access and reference by students, advisors and counselors.
And it all begins with the free National Course Atlastm.
OUR PROMISE
AcademyOne will utilize the collected and/or submitted course content to support the academic purposes of negotiating course articulation agreements, determining course equivalencies and presenting course information freely through our search views. The company will add additional elements to the course data to support curriculum alignment, consolidation of course definitions with course attributes and use the course information to provide additional enrollment and registration services to students and their institutions. Under no circumstances will AcademyOne alter the content submitted by institutions unless authorized by an institution.
